Kibera MP Ken Okoth dies in Nairobi Hospital.

The kibera member of parliament was last night rushed to Nairobi hospital where he was admitted in the ICU following his long battle with colorectal cancer (Colon cancer) unfortunately he passed on after several hours. The legislator recently came back from abroad France in particular where he was undergoing cancer treatment for a period of 5 month, recently pictures emerged on social media depicting how the disease has taken its toll on him. He will be remembered for his joyful personality as well as his hard work. During his time he undertook several projects including the construction of a modern state of the art Secondary school equipped with 4 laboratories and a library. Cancer Kills yet another prominent leader Dr. Joyce laboso

Not a week ago we mourned the death of kibera MP ken okoth due to cancer. Today it robbed us another brilliant leader Dr. Joyce laboso the bomet governor. She was out of the country for sometime seeking treatment for cancer. Some of the countries she has been to include UK where Hon. Raila Odinga visited her in one of the hospitals in london and also india where she underwent treatment for a while. She returned to the country only recently. She took over the leadership of bomet county from Mr isaac Ruto in a highly contested election back in 2017 and surprisingly emerged the winner. Ruto was thought to be the favourite in that election but the people of bomet had a favourite for themselves unknown to many. Her death does come as a shock to many including Hon. Raila Odinga who was a close friend. He said in a statement he was expecting her to recover since the doctors assured him that she was on the road to recovery but that was not to be as she succumbed to her illness ...
